It's foggy and I'm daydreaming.. so here's a list for no particular reason... my top 5 momentary silences,

gaps, pauses and other musical lingerings..

1. I'm Sticking With You by The Velvet Underground
... a moments hesitation before the epic close. Do it to me Lou

2. Laughing Stock by Talk Talk
... the whole album (geddit!). Pauses, spaces, gaps and holes galore!

3. Back For Good by Take That
... bit of a guilty pleasure I know. Just after the middle eight, the best "hang" in history"

4. Waterfront by David Sylvian
... from Secrets of The Beehive. Beautiful song, Beautiful hole.

5. I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
... not just the opening accapella.. the rest of the band comes in deliciously late..

I'm sure there's more, but hey I've got work to do!
