Morrissey In The Park

 

The organisers of the O2 Wireless Festival have announced that Morrissey will be headlining the Friday night line up in Hyde Park this July (4th). Morrissey joins an otherwise exclusively American line up with Beck and rising Beggars Banquet stars The National all braving the weather.

The Wireless Festival will be Morrisseys only UK festival date this year and he commented "What is classical is what we all agree on, and I think we all acknowledge Hyde Park festivals as important events. I am honoured to be asked to headline on July 4th, marking my 26th year haunting British music, and following the Hyde Park greats. I promise a thundering bill of tight nerves and suavity and all your favourites.." We're not entirely sure what all of that means, but who are we to argue or to judge.
