Nickelback Idle Towards History

 

Nickelback may be on course to grab one of the stranger chart records, by taking the longest time ever to reach number one during a single chart run. The record is currently held by WMD Celine Dione who's 1995 hit 'Think Twice' yawned it way to the top spot over 14 long weeks.

The band’s current track Rockstar, on the Roadrunner label, is presently out in front of Basshunters' Now You're Gone (Hard2Beat/MoS) and if it does grab the number one slot on Sunday, will do so after an 18 week slog!
