NME Awards Twice Please

 

It's a little like a bag of chips the NME Awards (bear with me). You pay your money. You get chips. No real surprises apart from the occasional green one, you can gee them up a bit with salt and vinegar, but essentially what you've got there is a bag of chips.

But chips are good, so eat them before they get cold and be thankful they only cost you a quid.

Me, I like chips but not to often, and I normally lose interest about half way through and start offering them around, which is ok unless everyone else has chips, in which case it's a little like offering a spliff around at a Lee Scratch Perry gig. Its been a good night but I'm whiting out a little now and my chest feels like a bass bin just fell on me. Doesn't anybody have some JD instead, or maybe a beer (I could murder a beer), or even some poppers... I used to love poppers..
