Sennen Launch Ignition! Nights

Sennen band shot in studio Current kings of blissed out Beach Boys on smack soundscapes and the toast of nugaze shoegaze, Sennen, are set to kick of MuHead’s own Ignition! nights launching in September.

Since the release of their second album Where the Light Gets In, a delicate and mesmeric mix of dreamlike vocals and cutting guitars, Sennen have gained an ever growing army of fans and are off on their first headline jaunt throughout September with new single Just Wanted To Know out at the end of the month.

Despite an ever increasing number of radio plays and celeb support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Sennen remain well grounded pursuers of their music, releasing records through local Norwich label Hungry Audio and working at their own pace within the flush expanse of the Norfolk Broads. As a result they produce beautifully uncorrupted and patient pop music.

Where The Light Gets In drifts like a waking dream, crashing through sharp and tense guitar explosions before slipping back into warm and heavy blanket of sound. Their debut mini album ‘Widows’, released in 2006, sold over 4,000 copies and with the release of ‘Where the Light Gets In’ and its abundance of glowing reviews they have surpassed every expectation.

Sennen release the excellent ‘Just Wanted to Know’ at the end of September. Its hypnotic drone of guitars and vocal harmonies is assuredly Sennen, outstandingly modest and invigorating. The full-length version develops into the infused cacophony that has made their live shows so empowering.
