The Cure 4 Singles in 4 Months

 
Gothic saviours and loveable shuffling troubadours The Cure are releasing a single on the 13th of each month from May until September to mark the run up to their 13th album, the currently untitled... 13th album. The singles and album are the first new material from the band since 2004 and first out of the bag, released on May 13th, is The Only One.

The Only One finds the band in classic Cure mode, sounding as fresh and jump-up-in-the-air-ish as ever, with chiming guitars and awkard vocals a plenty, it's very Head On The Door and all good for it. The Only One is followed by Freakshow on June 13th.

The Cure's 13th album is out on Suretone/Geffen on September 13th.
