Some of you, like me, will have grown up in the era when rap music meant something.
The tales told in these tunes, told a story. More often than not, it was an unpleasant one, or one of struggle.
Just because people move on, doesn't mean the music has to suffer. The bling & bragging of a lot of today's rap leaves me cold.
So, here we have something from the UK, that cuts thru' the bull.
A little nod to the Godfather of Rap, one Mr Gil Scott-Heron, fused with modern times.
